Need a 8749 programmed...

Michał Pleban
Hello!

I am seeking for someone who can program a D8749H chip for C900 hard
disk controller. I am still trying to fix the controller to make the
disk work in that machine, and after replacing all custom Western
Digital chips on the controller, I need now to try replacing the MCU.
But the MCU needs to be programmed obviosuly.

I found someone with a Willem programmer and MCS-48 adapter, but it is
unable to program my D8749H's. So I am looking for some other solution.
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,
Michau.

The GALEP5 programmer is able to cope with the 8749 - according to the
device list (please check your self)

http://www.conitec.com/english/galep5device_list.htm

I do have (indirect) access to the GALEP5 programmer - but I'm as you
know located in Denmark.

I can. I can even look for a 8749 (from a scrapped device).

It seems i can. I've an old ALL-03. And the device list show's this type without an adapter. I don't have tried it beforc and i so i don't have some 8749. The next problem the computer connected to this programmer don't boot any time. If i find any time, i will look ...

Hi,

I own an ALL-03 too. And there are two D8749H laying around here. But I never tried to program one. Send me your binary and I’ll give it a try.
